Dayton Boots

Hey Everyone,

The band had the opportunity to get together with Dayton Boots to support the fight against Parkinson's, and sign a guitar for a
silent auction, with all proceeds going to Parkinson's research. Not only do they love the Dayton Boots line but also the cause they
are supporting. The band along with other Canadian artists as Tom Cochrane, 54-40, Blue Rodeo and plenty more have come together to sign
a guitar for this silent auction.

Below is Thornley with Jason and Adam from Dayton Boots showing the guitar up for auction.

2 shows left
Hey everyone, Sorry about the lack of posts, but we've had a lack of internet lately. Shows have been great! We have the day off in Regina today. I'd give the waterslide at our hotel a 6.5/10! Not too bad. It's a good warm up for the 9/10 in Brandon tomorrow. Played The Back Alley in Calgary last night (awesome show, great crowd). Full Story

Thornley Crew

Hey Everyone,
We would like to make in known that a very close Thornley family member has left the group to pursue other avenues in his career. Liam Kileen has been with the band for almost the duration of the first album and has been an integral part of making things work on a day to day basis, both on and off stage. I am not sure if you all know the extent of work that the crew puts in on every gig to ensure that the band has a smooth show night after night and Liam scores top marks on all counts! Liam, we were spoiled by you brother and we will all miss you dearly. On behalf of the whole Thornley family, we wish you all the best in your new endeavors.

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say a quick hello, and let everyone know what we've been up to. Had an awesome show at the mod club a few nights ago. We played 2+ hours of rock with some brand new stuff thrown in. It was a fundraiser for this really cool organization called the Muki Baum Association. Thanks to everyone who came and checked it out and helped raise some cash.

sheer rock destruction

Hey everyone! What an incredible weekend we just had! I guess I'll start at the beginning. Headed for Edmonton on Friday for two shows which were crazy as always. Thanks so much to our fans out there, no one rocks Thornley like Edmonton. The crowd at the Ookfest show was something to behold. It was too bad but shortly after the sheer rock destruction we had to catch a plane to St. John's. With a transfer in Toronto. So we were thrilled about that to say none the less. It was only a short 45 minute wait once we boarded so this guys little dog could get there. Full Story

Thornley Trudeau Park, Tweed, ON
Wow, where to begin. The bus left Toronto at approximately 10:30am on route to Trudeau Park (approx 3 hrs). I was asleep in my bunk when we arrived on site (recovering from the previous night). Awoken by a roar of laughter I jumped out of bed to see what was up............... Full Story

Hey everyone it's Ian here.
I guess it's no mystery that some changes have been happening around here lately. New band members, old labels, new site, blah blah blah. I just wanted to drop in and say hey to all you guys and thank you for all the support you've been giving us.
Thornley fans truly are the coolest and best looking fans out there. I've been slaving away in the studio creating some really exciting shit and I can't wait for you all to hear it. I'm sure everyone knows about the DVD that was made, well we saw it and it's definitely a glimpse into life on the road in the Thornley camp. I just wish we didn't look so fucking tired!
Anyhow I gotta get back to work here but I'll be stopping by from time to time now that I'm starting to get a handle on this computer magic.

ciao. Ian
